Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Sirih Circle website and your participation in Sirih Circle programmes. By using this website or registering for a programme, you accept these terms. Please read them before proceeding.

In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website or register for any programme.

3. Nature of Services

Sirih Circle provides general education in household document literacy, record organisation and related administrative coordination. All offerings are educational in nature. Nothing provided by Sirih Circle — whether through this website, in a session, in written materials or in any other format — constitutes legal advice, financial advice, psychological counselling or any other form of professional advice regulated under Malaysian law.

Questions that require personal professional advice are referred by Sirih Circle facilitators to appropriately qualified professionals. Sirih Circle is not responsible for any action taken on the basis of programme content without independent professional advice where such advice is appropriate.

4. Programme Registration and Fees

4.1 Registration

Programme registration is confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from Sirih Circle. A place is not reserved until confirmation is issued. Group sizes are capped as stated in the programme description.

4.2 Fees

Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all materials provided during the programme. Fees must be settled prior to the session date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.3 Cancellation

Cancellation by a participant more than seven days before the session date: full refund. Cancellation within seven days of the session date: 50% refund. Non-attendance without prior notice: no refund. Sirih Circle reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a programme if group size requirements cannot be met; registered participants will receive a full refund in that event.

5. Conduct During Sessions

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants. Facilitators observe process and record structure only; they do not mediate disputes, provide personal advice or take positions on participants' family decisions. Any participant who disrupts the session or whose conduct prevents the session from running as intended may be asked to leave without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and all programme materials — including templates, glossaries, index sheets and workbooks — are the intellectual property of Sirih Circle. They are provided for your personal use in connection with the programme you have attended. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit this content without prior written permission from Sirih Circle. Glossary terms in programme materials are cited to published external sources; Sirih Circle makes no claim to those sources.

7. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful personal enquiry and information purposes only. You must not use this website in any way that causes or may cause damage to the website, impairs its availability, or is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems.

8. Disclaimers

This website and all programme content are provided on an "as is" basis. Sirih Circle makes no representations as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of any content. Sirih Circle does not represent that attendance at any programme will produce a specific outcome for any individual participant.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sirih Circle excludes liability for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising from use of this website or participation in any programme. Sirih Circle's total liability for any direct loss arising from participation in a programme shall not exceed the programme fee paid by the relevant participant.

10. Privacy

The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

11. Termination

Sirih Circle may terminate your access to this website or exclude you from a programme if you breach these Terms & Conditions. Termination does not affect any accrued rights or liabilities.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We encourage informal resolution of disputes in the first instance; please contact [email protected] before initiating formal proceedings.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later. These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Sirih Circle in relation to your use of this website and participation in programmes.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
